Congratulations to our tree giveaway winners!

In June, local nurseries donated 5 trees to the Oakley Tree Keepers, for a neighborhood tree giveaway. Thank you, Thyme in the Garden, B.B. Barns, Carolina Native Nursery, and Jesse Israel & Sons!

There was a drawing and the five lucky winners went home from the Open Streets Oakley event with a new native tree to plant in their yards. And of course, we all benefit when trees add to the canopy, recharge groundwater supplies, and enhance the beauty of our neighborhood.
